  Yup, just use the project/object first, and then the plugin should you need different functionality. The plugin existed before it was built into the tool. :) Let me know if you need help with Windows 8, and check out my blog series on creating games for Windows 8: blogs.msdn.com/lindsay

  Did you check out the Marketing your App article on MSDN? msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj193596.aspx

  Also, in working with developers (I work for Microsoft) with successful apps in store, they do all kinds of marketing from Facebook ads, to buying ads from Microsoft Adcenter/other ad platforms, and even advertising their apps in their other apps.
