  • Hi,

In the custom browser option I can't seem to define any command line parameters?!

I could probably reference a script or such to achieve launching "chrome.exe -proxy-server=" but surely this should be able to be defined by the custom browser string?!

I don't actually get why the string needs to be qualified either (not as in path but valid)

    Thanks

    Daniel

  • Well done, I really really like the style too..

What tools did you using to create the animation effects?!

  • Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your response.. I've only be using Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.16438 to date but I've just installed chrome and found it works fine.

Using Chrome does is a bit of a nightmare as previewing over localhost just doesn't work with the corporate proxy in the workplace hey ho probably shouldn't be doing in the office anyway so probably not a bad thing <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi All,

I updated last week to the latest release r152 but now on the project I have been working on it seems as though my Touch conditions are no longer being triggered by my mouse clicks.

I have created a new project and tested it works as expected!

I was wondering if there is anything I can do with the .capx I've been working on to rectify this?! - Without adding the Mouse object and appropriate conditions :)

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  • don't use the cloud compiling service!

    Export your project to cocoonJS

Put the .ZIP on dropbox (don't shorten the URL)

Reference the location by URL option in the cocoonJS app

  • If anyone is interested I managed to solve this easily in the end by populating a variable of the can's the Y position upon impact with the band (set on an angle) then validating that as a condition before applying the force. :)

    Cheers

  • This is almost exactly what I have been trying to achieve, thanks R0J0 for your contribution.

I have made some changes to suit my needs but am trying implement this as a rotatable object but unfortunately am having some difficulty :(

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction or give me some idea on how this could be achieved based upon R0J0s model?!

    Many thanks..

  • Yea this is cool, didn't work on my iPhone tho which is a shame..

  • Ah yes, I thought it might have been to do with the cloud compiler but tbh I just wasn't to bothered at this stage

Thanks for the heads up tho.

    Cheers,

    Daniel

  • Cool, sounds promising then...

I've attempted the cocoonjs launcher myself a few times but always seem to be presented with a black screen and FPS counter?! but hey it's good to know that it all might come together in the end :)

    Thanks

  • In my experience publishing to HTML5 for iOS is extremely buggy, when it actually does decide to play the audio it often has massive delay.

I'm really hoping that the Ludei (and alternative) publishing options will resolve this tho as if not I might as well give up now on my iOS target audience now <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • +1

  • I use Flexera InstallShield professionally, it's costly at around ?400 for the express editions.

Haven't tried any free alternatives but I must admit the Inno Setup looks ideal for simple Construct packages...

It seems to have been pretty consistently developed over the last 8 years too, which is nice

  • Hellooo...

    Construct2Saver Updated: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5480026/Construct2Saver.zip

    * Enables GPU Rendering by default

    * Pages are displayed in IE10 Standards mode

Unless anything is 'broken' this will likely be the final version of the Construct2Saver.

I plan to work on another variant of this project but it'll be a bit more multi purpose driven and probably hosted on my site - when I make one :)

    Thanks,

    Daniel
