  • Oh okay.

Okay, so I have done a little more and made some suggested changes. I will post a link.

    dl.dropbox.com/u/82485889/Little.exe

It is only one little area. The transitions go nowhere yet, but would like to have it so the player can choose which area to start out at. Each area will require a key to open, and you get a key from completing an area, and can use it to go to which ever one next. The first area will require no key, and will be an easy place just to try out different things, like a tutorial. Not that I think that such a basic little game needs one.

Anyway, have a run around If you'd like. I got bored in the first few minutes.

  • Okay, I have downloaded this dropbox thing. Ah, and I am not really lazy I just have a full time job.

  • Looks good. I like very much.

    I'd pay $2 for that.

  • Hey this is alright.

Its good to see that Contruct can do Isometric.

  • Nope, still didn't work.

Oh okay that's how I post a pic.

  • Here is a screenshot of another game I am playing around with.

Its about a Little Dude that does little things to make big things happen.

  • Here is a link to my first real attribution to the gaming community here at Scirra. Its an old bit of an idea I was toying around with. Buggy, and completely unfinished. I am thinking of recreating it properly, now that I know more about construct and how to use it. When finished it will be a complete game, space/action/rpg elements, free romeing and mission based.

I know its buggy and completely incomplete, but would like your feed back, albeit bad or good, on the direction this game was heading. The sfx are just fill ins, as i have not made sfx for it, i just used stuff already laying around. Graphics are all original, but basic and limited. I do better now days.

You cant die or anything, I was just testing what this software can do.

    Enjoy,

Please tell me if the link does not work. I am a first timer. This was my first project.

  • Looks good but cannot play because I cannot work out how to turn off the quick find in Firefox. Its driving me bonkers.

  • Nice work.

  • Thank you very much for sharing your game to the community. I hope to share one of mine soon too, so that you can bag on me too, hehe.

  • Honestly, it has far to go. Depends on if your goal is to one day make a commercially sellable game or not. If you do then it needs to be good. And there are lots of good genre games that have been successful out there, to get ideas from. Look into all of the online write ups on what makes a game addictive and what age group to target and so on.

If you need ideas you can fake it by doing what other successful games do, just make sure all of the graphics etc, are original.

  • Hey, I am interested in work. I am a construct developer my self, albeit maybe only a advanced beginner, he well not really. But I am interested in work, by contract. So pay per job.   Just to be safe, I don't know what exactly you need help with, but I am sure I can handle it.

I have been doing stuff like this for years, from making tilemaps to basic scripting in a few common languages.

If you are still interested. Send me a line.

  • Hello and thank you for welcoming me to your community.

I am an old school indie developer. Have made mods for lots of games over the years.

I like construct, It has lots of potential. Be methinks it could have more support for custom plugins and behaviors.

I am currently developing my first real commercially sellable game in Construct Classic and I like where it is going. I would like to reconstruct it in construct 2, but can only do that If construct 2 has the flexibility I need.

But anyway, I am 29 and live out in the sticks in Australia. Its nice and peacful here so I get a lot of work done.

I am hoping the Construct 2 will continue to be improved for many years to come, as it simplifies many time consuming things.

If you've read this, thank you for your time.
