  i am trying to make a profiles step by step...

  now i am stucked with this thing-

  i am using "edit box" for writing text for player name,

  then i am trying to use "ini" for saving this information. so if application loads again i want to have this player name loaded.

  i know it is propably very simple, but still i dont know how to do it :(

  Is that a possible that construct will dectect which OS is used (winXP or win Vista/7). and then make for example that game will save data files on another place on windows XP than win Vista/7 ?

  this username/profile thing looks very complicated and complex to me. i dont know where to start... but i need something like almost every casual game have

  I have on object, for example on place XY(50,50). and when I click on it, I want this object move to XY(100,100), but not immediately, but for example for few seconds.

  I dont know how to set bullet, for me it moves only from one place to right and does not stop it on place where i want

  I can easy move object - on click, then I "set position" on X and Y and object move where I want.

  But can I make it that it will took for example 2 seconds? so object will move smoothy?

  I will start develop a new casual game soon. I have finished small game project last year, but still I consider myself as a beginner to game developing...

  Now I am trying to solve this problem. Most of casual games has this option - if you start the game, you can change your profile (so game can be played by more players and saves are made under their usernames)...

  Have you got an idea, how to make this thing in construct classic?

  Hello,

  I have an idea of casual game. it will be adventure game with some puzzles, but not classic adventure. there will be main character, but player will not control him, but control the scene (and it will influence character of course). So it will feel like player is "helping" character.

  I have finished a small project before, so I can imagine how much work will it be, so I need to choose carefully best game engine for it.

  Since construct classic is not under development now, is it a good idea to use it? Or do you know about some other game engine (easy for use and for fast development) which will fit best?

  game will not be much complicated (story will be told with many and many animations, there will be some puzzles, but not very hard).

  But I need to make classic "user" switch, which most casual games has. Is it easy to make it with CC? I will also need window/fullscreen option and more things which are common on casual games. Is it easy to make it with CC, or is there a better solution?

  hello,

  I have a question if it is possible to transfer licence to construct2. I mean if I have not paypal and also if it is complication for me to buy from EU countries.

  Is it possible to ask someone to buy licence to construct2 and then buy it from him? or the only way is buy it online on scirras shop?
