  • Hey it's just I am working on my new game and I want my player object to fall after it collides with an enemy or obstacle just like flappy bird. How do I do that ? any idea.

  • Thank You ! i'll look into it

  • I want fonts like flappy bird or my own fonts not the default ones. Whenever I choose a different font, construct 2 shows "font type not supported" and it reverts back to default one. Any one know how to use a different font ?

  • I am afraid there aren't any but try this link : envato.wdbase.de/documentation/#document-14

Go through this link , its easy to follow. If you still don't get it , either way I was thinking to do a easy to understand tutorial on cocoonjs and google play services and I wlll do it within 2-3 days of you can wait.

  • It maybe hard ! But not impossible and You will have to commit yourself fully with time and resources. If You have a bunch of guys to do it, then Go for it.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Go to user control panel Or View Your post section and there you Go with the list of posts you made. Then select the post , after selecting it you will see a cross icon above post and then you delete it

  • Hey Guys anyone played Amazing brick from Ketchapp. I want a similar touch system in my game too, where if player touches half of screen on left side, the character will jump left side while touching right side will enable right side jump without no onscreen buttons.

  • Yay ! thank you very much i guess this would do it :3 I'll try it later and let you know about it :3

  • Okay Guys my game is actually kinda like doodle jump ! I am thinking of updating my game with new feature like in doodle jump , i.e. if I am falling upon an enemy , the enemy should die when I land upon him and jump again else my player should die ! If anyone of you had played Doodle jump, you'll get what I am actually trying to convey.

  • thanks a lot ! it would be great help

  • Hi,

Now the export option for "CocoonJS" is not there in C2, so how do I export for it and then finally through which software do I get an apk? Is it through Ludei?

    Thanks.

The latest versions of Construct 2 hides anything related to CocoonJS by default. If you want to still get access to these features, you can do so by specifying to “show deprecated exports/plugins” by right clicking in both the Construct 2 export options and the Construct 2 plugins respectively.

And regarding apk , you can get it from compiling your project in Ludei's website.

  • > In my experience using cocoonjs as export is much better and convenient. It gives better performance. You can check my game for reference

I would agree, but Crosswalk is also a nice one too if you want to take that route. I use Crosswalk for my games and don't experience much of an issue in performance on most devices, but it's a known fact that CocoonJS performs better.

Yea Totally ! I will definitely try to use Crosswalk in my next game though

  • If you use CocoonJs, then you can use google play services like leaderboard and achievements

You can check my game, I implemented google play services in my game

  • Try exporting it through CocoonJS
