    i spent so many hours....

    in my game i have 3 layouts who share the same event sheet, the MENU, the INTRO and LEVEL 1

    In the capx i have the game pad, one sprite for the start buton and one sprite for the continue buton

    if the variable "intro" = "0" then we load the layout "intro", IF the variable intro = "1" then we load the layout "level1"

    thats all i need to achive, tried lot of things... nothing works...

  • hi in my game i added an intro i would like to play this juste ONCE, so i added an "intro" global variable if the variable is "0" then the intro is played and then set to "1", if the "intro" global variable is = "1" then the players goes directly to the first level.

    so at te beginin of the game, at the menu i compare that value if is = to "0" or "1".

    but this is not working, im stuck with this problem :s

  • Problem Description

    i have the steam version of construct 2, in my desktop pc i dotn have any connection for security reasons, when i load construct 2 in offline mode if i add the browser object and i add an event on click request fullscreen - centered, it doesn't work.

    the browser doesn't change to full screen, but if i compile the app in exe, it works, doesnt work in preview mode.

    then add event on click set browser to fullscreen mode

    construct2 need to be offline i mean no internet connection

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • add browser oject, add gamepad object
    • add event on any button clicked browser request fullscreen centered
    • be sure you have no internet connection

    Observed Result

    no full screen mode in offline mode.

    Expected Result

    full screen mode has to work also in offline mode ( steam version)

  • hi in the game im working i woud like to ask the player to enter his email when he won something during the game, how i have to proceed for that?

  • yeah, right now i did this, at start of layout+ sprite is visible, system save to slot "level&life&score"

    if the player end the game and later click on "continue" it load from slot "level&life&score".

    i dont know where the "save" file is saved on the machine, i use the construct2 save & load function.

  • in my game i have a start title menu where the player can start from zero "level1" and "continue" from the last saved level.

    im lost with the local storage, i have 20 levels at the moment.

    in my game everytime the player reach the exit door, the level+life has to be saved, if the player close the app and then restart later, when he click "continue" the game has to restart from the last saved level.

    question is: where i have to add the localstorage functions for saving/loading, in the game event sheet, or in the menu event sheet??

  • hi in my game i have differents events sheets, one for the game title menu with the function play & continue.

    i use the save system --> game to slot "mysave" function when the player reach the end of a level.

    the problem is the loading, when i click on the main menu of the game on "continue" the system --> load game slot "mysave" is not working.

    i juste need when the player click on "continue" to load the last played level with the last number of lifes.
