  Hello here its a question for developers and Ashley.

  it is possible to do, an ap who contains videos, start more fast than actually?

  When i do an app with the node webkit, for ex an exe, and videos inside, i know its compressed by the wrapper and need to be decompressed before that start.

  but it is possible to do that faster?

  Becase actually if you do an app with HD videos, that take like 15s before the app start.

  look to this old video game, made with real actors filmed in greenkey and added in a cgi backdrop, i mean making games like that can be really great.

  i dont think only 2d games can be done with construct, but bigger project also, for the web or dvd support.

  Do you think one day youre going to develop an official video player for construct2??

  We know its a game engine, games are used in games too, and the engine can be used as a multimedia tool, too because its becomming bigger and more powerfull every time you add an update.

  so my question is that about video players, because i use constrcut2 for websites, or multimedia apps.

  i found :D, but your typing effect don't work unde IE-FIREFOX-CHROME.

  its a bug if i put for example a video, + a text with the typing effect.

  i add the action to the typing effect: on video is playing---text-start typing 0.1, the typing work perfectly when you run the app under construct, but when you export the app in html5 for the web, that doen'st work anymore, the text start when the webpage is started :s

  2. on video "On play" Text Typing"text at 1 letter per 0.1sec"

  3.

  Observed result:

  The text start when the webpage is started + videos webm doesn't play under "IE" and "FIREFOX"

  Expected result:

  The text need to appear ONLY when the video is played and NOT when the page is started

  Browsers affected:

  Chrome: yes

  Firefox: yes

  Internet Explorer: yes

  Operating system & service pack:

  windows 7 64bits

  hello someone know how to animate a text in construct2 with a timer??? ex: i have a video in my website, and i would like at the min 1:20 a text appear writiping style in the webpage.
