  • ok for some strange reason after fully uninstalling contruct and taking the folder it left behind out, I re-installed it and threw the .csx files in their respective folders and I still get the same error message. When it was installing the direct x setup said it already detected newer or equivalent version so it didnt do anything. im on Vista 32-bit.

  • I always let direct x install when installing construct, I'll try again but should I uninstall construct first?

  • after doing that and starting construct it gives me an error which looks like this:

    and you cant find it in the plugin list

  • I tried to start making a game and all I used to make the animations and game objects was the animation editor XD of course all the graphics are cruddy but thats because im not good at making my own. what held me back from completing it though was the fact I couldnt find out how to make passcoded doors correctly.

  • if you make a game in construct that has that much bullets onscreen I will be amazed. I dont doubt construct's abilities, i'm sure it would just be a diabolical torture S&M thing to make it.

  • for some reason that .cap creeps me out.. I donno something about a little ball with a light traveling around through a dark space with all these ships pointing their things at you and rotating ever so slightly <.>

  • Pressing C did nothing for me but I was getting 73 fps which I guess is good because I have a PoS laptop.

  • Wow Sol, this thing is much more solid than last time I tried it. The handplant looks MUCH better now that I see what looks to be the full thing. You must've had a hard time putting in the wall jump since you had to make the name of it "****ing Work!!!" XD. Those kill saws are much more menacing now too. I ran into a bug when I rolled around in the lava and then jumped to the side platform to do a hand plant while still holding down crouch. I was glitched and couldnt move and the animation would be stuck on rolling. I haven't been able to do this again so I guess it was just a lucky fluke. Its looking pretty cool now and more importantly FUN. Ill be sure to play the demo when it comes out
