  Great, thank you. The tutorial I used to make my health meter had me create it using an instance variable for the main character, that is why I went that way with it. I will give this a shot tonight. Thanks smarties.

  Hi Guys,

  I have an instance variable on my main platform player with initial value of 100. When I complete level 1 (layout 1) and go to level 2 (layout 2) the player's health resets to 100. How would I have the value at the end of layout 1 carry over into layout 2? Thanks for your help!

  Hi smart people,

  I have a platformer that when the player overlaps a sprite, turns into 8-direction control. Works great. How can I get the player to return to platform control after no longer ovelapping sprite? Thanks for your help. Attached Capx.

  Hi Guys,

  Working on a game that recreates a famous subway line in Tokyo with station graphics and sounds. All of my characters are currently from OpenGameArt, but that will change soon. Wish me luck. I am really happy with the movement of the train (easing in and out). Thanks.

  I had a problem for a while where I was unable to use the app previewer on my phone. No matter what I did the app would never accept my password. I would reset my password and try and it wouldn't ever work. I uninstalled the Windows version of the software and reinstalled it and then reinstalled the app and it finally worked after 30 days of trying.
