Hi, I need 3 random sprites show up on the screen every round. I have a family of 9 objects. Can you please suggest the easiest way to do that?

I'm working on a game prototype and was wondering: I have 5 sprites with animations pre-created. How do I spawn/show next random sprite out of 5 after the current object was destroyed?
Basically, I need to destroy obj_enemy when it's on the same Y coordinates as obj_sword and when hit animation happens. But it's not working for some reason.
Thanks for the advices. Some of the stuff is probably a bit too advanced for me. Not sure what do you mean by Sliding, Bounce and player_base_direction. Cant find it yet.

I tried to play with gravity, but it doesn't seem quite right (I'm a noob here).
