  • This is seriously annoying . I have been getting this error quite too often here at scirra's forums.

    2. Set the block's collision type to bounding box

    Remember , you have to be flexible when it comes to selling your sprites or assets. Build a good relationship with your customers (their needs , financial situation). Otherwise you are in for a hard time when you decide to sell your sprites , No matter how good they look.

  • It depends on what type of sprite/character art style you want . For 3d rendered animations you could try Daz3d.It's base installation is free. The rest of the 3d models and props you have to buy though.

  • Ashley finally downloaded the latest build via torrent . Don't know why i had try so many times though , guess it's because of to much traffic and congested lines over here. The latest build is fantastic as always. Thank you for the tips and suggestions everyone.

  • If there could be some kind of patch updater instead of downloading the whole app from scratch . That would be ideal for people which do not have high speed internet.I tried to download the latest construct 2 with no luck at all. All the other game making apps are downloading like they should (Unity , UDK etc) . Tried 15 times to download Construct 2 and it seems that it stops at 55-60 megs every time.

    Also tried the torrent but it remains the same . So now i am stuck at R139 .

  • I want to use construct 2 as a front end and for the voice commands . Will create a php file for this and see how it goes. Thanks for the help and a happy new year to everyone at scirra.

  • Anybody got any ideas on how this can be done . Made another app with c++ that seems to work the way i want , but i want to use construct 2 .

  • how can i save text to another pc using construct 2?. What i want to do is to create a voice activated alarm system. Whenever a certain word is recognized a text file should be created and sent to the other pc . something like when text is help/set text to "help me" , Send file to IP adress 196.".".". or http address.

    Would something like this be possible using ajax?.

  • I cannot seem to download the latest version of Construct 2. It stops at 30 megs every time i try. I do not want to use the torrent download seeing that most torrent apps have viruses and all sorts of spam ads etc. Is there an alternate mirror site which i can use to download construct 2?

    I have tested my internet speed and all the other websites apps are downloading just fine.

  • I have been playing toxic bunny hd lately and noticed that the performance of that particular 2d game is not that great. So just out of curiosity i used all the original sprites from the game and made the same game (level 1 at least ) using Construct 2 . The performance gain was remarkable to say the least. The game ran at a constant 60 fps where the original only ran at 30 to 25 fps. Unfortunately i cannot show the remake since it would be illegal to do so.

    But it's still very interesting to see that Construct 2 has better performance than the original dev's engine.

  • I am having sound/music problems with a demo game which i installed recently . The problems is that there's no sound or music when i run the game. I have a lenovo all in one pc c540 touch . I have updated all the drivers (auto update) . Tried to post on steam but apparently i have posted to many times (although i have never even posted one thread on steam lmao). Could this be due to the pc not being compatible with steam games?.

    I want to buy some steam games but if this is the case then i see no point in buying games which don't even have sound/music.I am using win8-64bit OP.

  • I use inkscape for animations and sprites. But i am switching over to good old pixel art just to get out of my comfort zone and to get some more practice with pixel art.
