    As you can see,I have 3 structures in the tile map.

    If I wanted to move one,I would have to erase that one completely and tile it again.That's what I meant

    So I suggest a "tilemap selection".Just like the MS paint,where you select parts of the image and drag and drop it.

    For example,I have grass tiles and I made two grass areas with my tilemap object.So if I am to move a grass area,I would have to 'erase' it and 'draw' it again. It would be so nice to be able to make a selection and drag and drop parts of tilemaps to others or within it etc.

  • I am currently making a game which depends largely on tile maps.

    If I made a tile object in a wrong position,I would have to delete the whole object(Remove the tiles and then make it again).

    I would love to have a feature where tiles can be cut,pasted and drag and dropped.Is it possible Ashley?

    Why did you Call "Newmap" function when Map reaches -1/2 self.width?

    I tried making it 0.But didn't work.

    I have a 4GB torrent Game downloading now.It takes most of the bandwidth

    It would take about 3 hrs to download the beta.So finishing at 2 am tonight.However,I am downloading it.

    By the way, Beta 160 is available now.

    Your method does not work for tiles having different widths.

    Here's an example:

    I picked a random map from map1 and 2,(Starting map is 0)

    And kept it at the end of map0.So map zero is now dead,I don't want it to come ever again. :) -Just starting map-

    Now the main problem.Please have a look at the capx file.I have tried using functions in vain.

  • Nope.The sprite font file is out of order.for example,A is 3 pixels away from B and B is 10 pixels away from C.etc.

    I want each letter to have the same dimension and same distance,to make it work correctly.So I already have to sprite font file where background is transparent and letters are totally white.So when I open it with Paint.NET,the gray-white background makes it difficult to see the letters.I could easily change the gray-white pattern with another colour in gamemaker sprite editor(Which I used till now)
