  • Haha! That's awesome. The lemon water concept was funny. He replied so nicely and makes me wonder if he laughed writing back.

  • What sqiddster said. It's awesome. Can't wait to see moar!

  • Referring to this one?

  • Amazing! I really hope this becomes successful. Good luck! I'd donate if I could :P

  • sqiddster Good point. I do see how that could very well be misused. Understandable why it can't and shouldn't be implemented.

Ubivis Yea, usually what I like to do.

Wastrel Very useful, thank you! Why didn't I think of that?

    Thanks, guys!

  • I noticed in some games the cursor likes to leave the window. This becomes somewhat a problem when games require constant attention and reaction when playing, whether it be shooting a horde of zombies or moving a bar to keep objects from leaving the level, etc. Is there a way to keep the cursor in the game window or frame during play?

I do apologize if the question on a related subject has been asked already. I had trouble finding it if so.

  • Very well done! The only problem I have is the cursor likes to leave the game.

  • It is the work of our highly talented artist Paulo! I'm hoping to roll the new design across the entire site (but it's a big job!)

I was going to ask about that. :P Looks nice!

  • Thanks, Ashley. I was interested in that.

  • At this link you can download the latest notebook drivers from Asus, here.

    • Just select your operating system and download the latest version and try that. Make sure to select x64 bit if you have 64 bit Windows.

If not, then I found two matches to what you told me on the Asus website, here.

I'm assuming this one is yours, the M51Ta?

In any case, I found this.

    • However, according to what you've already told me, that's likely what your already using. :(

    I also found this.

    • It's a later version then the one on the Asus website, but I'm not sure if it supports the hybrid behavior of your laptop or even your hardware in general.

Let's just say that I took a long time posting back because I was doing whole load of Googling :P

Please, let me know if you need anything.

  • May I know the make and model of you laptop? Often, manufactures make custom graphics cards from chips like these (like nVidias Optimus that Dell forces you to use their custom drivers for) and you might have to get your driver specifically from your laptop's manufacturer's website.

  • Happened to me too. Got so frustrated with myself XP

  • Try Construct 3

  • Very nice. I like the effects and game play.

  • Haha, it's kind of an idea generator too.

  • Hello, my name is Nathanael. Not new here, really, but hello anyway! Just a college student learning the awesomeness of programming and game development. Not sure, exactly, how I found Construct. But, I can gladly say I'm extremely happy I did. The concepts to writing code are all so similar. I've done a bit of C#, JS, and PHP, but that can include C2 if you can consider that too :)

Making games was always an interest as was programming itself. Video games were always an inspiration to new ideas of what I wanted to do. Still, never really got into it until I found Construct. Really for games, but that's what started the journey into more interesting parts of the programming world. I have a fondness for JavaScript, but web development is an overall interest.

Soon, hopefully, I'll grasp the concepts to programming, game and game development, and what ever else there is in relation to that. Plenty of tutorials out there and experimenting is most fun. A fat book doesn't get me far, but Construct gives me a very nice tool to experiment with and I can't wait to see where Construct 2 will be in time.

    Thanks, Scirra!
