  • Can we request behaviors NOT by rex?

    If so, I want converted.

I tried myself, and I failed.

  • Can anyone post a tutorial on how to work this out? I want to convert the Sonic Physics behavior but failed. How can I make this work?

I really want to use this behavior in Construct 3.

  • Can you consider porting your behavior to Construct 3? I really want to use it!

  • Sorry for the late reply, but yeah I apparently turned on the "Simplified user interface" a long time ago, disabled it, and forgot to edit this thread

I just forgot i posted this forum thread, soooo sorry lol

You can close this now Ashley

  • So I updated Construct 3 and some object types and events are missing.

Hard to add much more to that...

Is this just my PC, a bug, or is it meant to be like this?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • In April 1st, Construct 3's font was changed to Comic Sans and the loading screen changed from circles to squares...

...was that an April Fools joke?

  • I just posted this because the website said you can post things that need improvement...

  • Let's be honest, it's a direct copy of what Clickteam did (having used and developed plugins for their software), but they saw it's short cummings and fixed them expanding on the original concept. Ironically it's now Clickteam who have seen what Scirra have done and are now incorporating the improvements back into their own products.

cirra just made Clickteam's way to manage events much easier!

  • Just wondering, how did Scirra get the awesome idea of a easy to read event sheet? I think it's cool, because it's readable, intuitive, and easy to use. It's been around since CC, and i want to know how you got the idea.(It's like coding! If, else, etc.)

  • Can you please add support for HTML6? I just read about it, and I was shocked.

  • I created somewhat of a prototype of a section in my game that involves drawing. I implemented the easiest way somewhat draw. But every time I draw, there's tiny dots making a trail.

Here's my technique how I did the glitchy drawings:

    1. I make a tiny dot outside the layout

    2. I test if the dot is coming to my mouse

    3. I make the tiny dot copy itself onto mouse.x, mouse.y, when the cursor left button is down.

Hope you understand. If not, tell me.

    Thanks for reading!

  • if you are surfing via mobile, and you are using internet data, a small script that takes ~1kb of data to update the downloads numbers would be your last thing to worry, i wold worry more of the mobile applications which are automatically updated in the background of your phone (ex:google, facebook etc).

oesn't that apply to computers as well? (On a modem)

  • If you look at the very bottom of the Scirra page, you'll see "[XXXXXXX] Total Downloads", right? Well, it kinda seems like bragging to me. Another reson it's because it's updating constantly. Everytime someone downloads Construct, the digits will go up in real-time, which looks like the page is constantly checking for people that are downloading it, which is a problem. (Because internet consumption will go up!)

Please don't give this negative feedback, as it's my opinion (Oh yeah, opinion reminds me of onions! )

  • Is this a place for suggesting as well? If so, i'll give my suggestion:

Can you make it easier to simulate "drawing" in a C2 game? (I'll give you more info on that)

  • Yup, doesn't work ... It was worth a try <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

    These buttons are XButton1 and XButton2 .

XButton1 -- 4th mouse button. Typically performs the same function as Browser_Back
