  • I am making a breakout game,and need to stop the paddle when it touches walls,i thought this would be very simple,but i can't figure out how to do it...another thing,i can not use bound to layout,because layout is larger.So i need another solution.

  • Well there are several ways. One is social media. Make a facebook page for it, twitter about it, google+ so forth. Show gameplay on youtube. Make a website.

    There are sites dedicated to promoting indie games, not to mention hitting up the android forums to promote your game. Ashley made a great tutorial for this found here:

  • So i always wanted to make a game,and when i finish it,i wan't to release it on android,but i don't wan't it to just be sitting on the store...how can people find my app?

    I never released a game before so i don't know...but i don't wan't to have 0 downloads on the store

  • Sorry i am new to Construct 2.Okay,i will put a screenshot so you understand what i mean,but basically,these ----- lines make a rectangle that is a little smaller than my layout.When i test the game,the game is actually that rectangle size,and not the layout size,please tell me what is the rectangle and how to edit it?

    P.S. Don't mind me trying to make the world's worst breakout game

  • Yes i know but i was suspicious about this since from before i had some experience with game-making programs and i got a little confused,but thanks,glad to hear i can make levels.

  • Sorry to ask but i am new to this and i wan't to know can i make levels in Construct 2,or is it just simple games...i wan't to make it so that when i complete level 1,level 2 unlocks...and so on...Is that possible?
