  • Thanks a bunch guys.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I've asked Intel to support it automatically in Crosswalk. I'll nudge them and see what the progress is.

Any updates from Intel on this? Thanks.

  • Darn, Intel just updated their XDK software and I see nothing about this. I'll have patience for the future.

  • Hard to know why it is disappearing without seeing your events but I'm sure it's a super simple fix. I recommend ctrl+F5 for debug mode and look for the disappearing object in the list on the left and then see if it's actually deleted or just out of the screen area, or hiding behind something etc. Once you have more info you can go to your event sheet and fix the problem. Good luck!

  • I really want to say that Flappy games are everywhere! they are viral! Why they are so popular game type?

I asked this same question a good while back. These mini games bore me if I play for more than a few minutes because you dont really work towards anything but a higher score so I looked into why the heck they get so many installs. Basically lots of the players(but not all of course) that play these are looking for a quick fix to kill a few minutes of boredom in long lines, bus rides, few minutes of spare time and aren't really looking for a profound experience which I complexly understand and have been guilty of myself at times. For developers....they are super quick to make(meer hours for the basic ones) and if it catches on, you can make a killing. Flappy bird not only spread the cloning virus but also started the onslaught of mini games that are masochistic on purpose because the more you die, the more ads show up. Developers like https://play.google.com/store/apps/deve ... d=Ketchapp and https://play.google.com/store/apps/deve ... ps+Pty+Ltd come to mind. Mostly simple games and if you look closely...5-10 million installs on some of those apps. With the ads and in-apps going on...you can imagine why there are so many of these uploaded trying to be the next big thing. Hope I helped.

  • Thanks, will try it.

  • Check out the "Infinite Jumper" template inside Construct 2. It will give you an idea of how to go about it. You will basically replace a lot of y's with x's from that template so you scroll to the right instead of upwards. Good luck!

  • In actions for Fade I only see actions for "Finished" but is there a way to make an event for "On Fade Started"? Thanks.

  • I've uploaded my app a couple hours ago! Super cool

    Congratulations

  • > soooooo why are you signing manually?

    >

If you check signed it's debug signed and you cannot upload it to the store as far as I know.

The check signed APK can be uploaded without any problems actually.

  • I have published on Google Play easily and successfully with Intel XDK by just checking the "Signed" box under "Build Settings" for your particular game. All automatic in my experience. Good luck.

  • Sorry, what I meant was Collision Disabling with asm.js is not supported on Intel XDK yet. I exported my mobile game with Intel XDK build and when I tested APK I was wondering why my game was messed up. My character would freeze and game was unplayable. Took me a good while to figure out that Intel XDK doesn't support collision disabling yet with asm.js so I had to switch back to Box2dweb and everyone was fixed. Gonna have to wait for next update of Intel XDK maybe.

  • Same problem. Was fixed by switching back to box2dweb until intel xdk supports asm.js

  • Nice job

  • I still use Box2dWeb because of collision disabling which is a big part of my game. Curious when AMS.JS will get an update of this.
