  Ok that works many thanks, next question how would I delay it slightly so my character / player slowly walks to the cursor position rather than just instantly appears there? I tried to add 8 directional movement and do it that way but it does not work.

  That does not work. I need it to do like a point and click adventure. I have figured out the coordinates of the mouse are not the same as the position of the mouse on the screen, in a point and click adventure game in Construct 2 whats the best way around this?

  As per the below file, I tried to do what seemed logical to make the player sprite move to the exact coordinates of the mouse, what am I doing wrong as it does not seem to work, how do I fix it etc...? I can't find any tutorials online about making a click and point game with construct 2 :'(

  From lines 4 to 6 in tab MainES as per attached .capx how would I shorten this so that it is a loop or algorithm of some sort? I want it to sequentially add each multiple of 25 to variable milestone, so 25,50,75,100,125,150,175,200,225...... how would I do this rather than writing it out for every single number?

  I got mine working by doing what you said, box2dweb and running chrome in developer mode etc... so thanks for that.

  Ashley could you please be more specific on: "it works fine as a packaged app when tested from chrome://extensions." because I am just exporting from construct 2 selecting the chrome webstore option then clicking the index.html file this still brings up a black screen under box2dweb physics.

  TMsimonW Sorry to hear that. Hopefully a good solution arises somehow in the future. Chrome web store is not my main area of publishing, however it would be nice as I do use a chromebook a lot for studying stuff.
