  • ok thanks

  • Thanks Newt I forgot to add that the line will not be straight it would an 'S' shape for example.

  • Ok so I want to allow a user to essentially draw a line but when their mouse is released the line is replaced with a sprite (or a series of). For example a pipe using a repeating (seamless) PNG so it looks normal and not stretched or anything

Is this kind of thing possible in Scirra?

  • Does anyone have any idea of how to achieve an effect like Piperoll here - youtube.com/watch

I'm guessing a grid with series of sprites that can be rotated 4 ways, but not sure how you would do the following:

    1) Detect whether a connection has been made?

    2) If connection has been made then how do you mask the water so it progresses through the pipe?

    Many thanks for your help

  • only two PMs?

Looking to build a relationship with an artist for lots of upcoming work..

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Errrm... Yes exactly like that. I'm PM'ing you a question now

    That is awesome...

  • If you're interested please PM me samples of your work and rates.

  • Is there a more feasible way, obviously wouldn't look as good but anyway?

i saw a few older examples called Quaziblobs, that looks good but would it be playable?

  • Hi

How would I go about allowing a user to draw a solid platform (line). In a kind of 'build your own' level.

After the level has been created (by the user) he hits the start button and then the game character can interact with the platforms i.e. jump on them etc..

  • Hey

I am new to the forums and game development using Construct and interested in creating a liquid effect like from Coco Loco - youtube.com/watch

I understand it was created probably with C++ / OpenGL... Is this even possible in Construct?

    Thanks!
