  • Agree 100%

  • No SDK or Tool has it all!

C2 is good at making HTML5 games that run great on desktop browsers. That's the main reason why I bought C2, because I wanted the option to make browser games.

I don't expect HTML5 games to fair well on mobiles by today's standards. I use other SDKs to produce Native code on mobiles, and it would be very hard for HTML5 to beat that, at least for now.

HTML5 is great for doing mobile utilities and productivity applications though.

I am a 40 year old software developer. I mostly do casual mobile games (Native not HTML5).

i have recently started to take an interest in browser games and i think that HTML5 is the future. i found Construct2 to be a very good investment, and I love the regular updates and the helpful community.

they might work on IE using the "chrome frame" plugin if you pop that up for teh user to install.

i can't understand how come safari does not support webgl, they just release v6 recently

  • Appmobi is a browser shell for HTML5 games.

You code your games in HTML5.

I don't do mobile games in HTML5 because of performance restrictions.

I do Native apps in C++ which run at 60fps.

  • My plans with the tint shader is to do a simple colouring book, where i have all white sprites with a black bold border, and i want to colorize the white area with an rgb value.

there is already a plugin for this, it works only with webgl and only in firefox & ie though.

  • GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!

    It's August, I am starting a countdown for r100!!!

  • Does it have to be Construct Classic?

If no, then I would be very interested. I'm an ios-Android developer and am always looking forward to co-operate with artists on casual style game projects, that are achievable realistically within a short period of time.

  • Did you ever find a programmer to finish your project?

If you are still interested, kindly contact me, I'm an iOs - Android Native app developer.

  • emailed you

  • I do NATIVE apps, which means Obj-C in Xcode on iOS and C++ NDK on Android.

I don't use HTML5 and appmobi for mobile app dev
