  • Hi Im totally new to using Intel XDK, got my game running pretty easily. Two issues to figure out.

Is it normal for the emulated version of my game in Intel XDK to run perfectly (60fps) but the build version runs slower, choppier if you will?

Also, I see y'all talking about CrossWalk version 7, 11 and 12. How do you update/change the version of crosswalk in intel xdk? Or how do you use different versions?

Thanks a zillion for any help!

PS - Also do you check the box that says "Game project?" (basic canvas) when prompted or do i set it to No?

Hi, Im testing with the release version of the game thats up on google play. Yes the IAP are working, I can purchase no problem and have successfully purchased the IAP on two devices.

The problem Im having is when a user uninstalls the app and reinstalls it the IAP goes away and prompts you to pay again. So, Im trying to RESTORE the purchases with a button under the buy button.

Its an Android app and the product is managed (not consumable). The purchases are showing in the Ludei Dev Portal and Google Play Dev Console. The app doesnt return any messages at all when I press the restore purchases button. It does nothing, I tried to code it every way I could find online plus the way you do it in the example CAPX.

I am using Canvas+, I dont use the launcher so I dont know.

I have the sandbox mode enabled in C2, should I have it disabled? What log should I be checking?

Sorry for not giving you the extra info you needed and I didnt mean to sound like a jerk. I know you guys are dealing with a lot but when you spend a whole day and a half messing with the thing you start to lose it

Could I send you my capx to see what and if its wrong?

    Thanks

P.S - I got the leaderboard working so Im not a total idiot haha

  • ludei I've tried every combination of events and I still cant get the restore purchases working. I looked at your exaple capx and nothing works like you have it in the CAPX. For my IAP and GooglePlay Services to work I had to add "Is In Cocoonjs" first. I dont understand why its so esoteric/rough to find out how to use your plugin properly.

Has anyone had luck? Anyone at all? I just want to get back to what I like, making games.

If I cant figure this out Im going to have to switch to another wrapper, whats the best alternative to cocoonjs?

  • Graphics are nice in their simplicity, cool lighting effect. Maybe the flames jumping out could use some lighting magic too. Made it to the part with the slow moving platform and a row of spikes above that kill me way too much when I jump over the moving object. Cool game overall, maybe make that slow moving platform move quicker when you enter the stage or start it closer as players will be replaying that section a bit due to its tough positioning. The game works better when not waiting but going. Anyways, cheers and great job!

  • Here is my lap tops specs: AMD Dual Core 1.3 GHZ, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics card. Its a bit old of a laptop but should be able to run your game fairly well.

Bad news is that it has 5 second loading times and a very slow frame rate, no more than 10 fps, probably less.

Looks like it could be fun, I really like the first cover art while the game loads.

  • You can use the debugger/preview mode, go through each stage and see the Est. image memory.

  • BUMP!

  • Hi guys, after asking a few peeps and scouring the forums/internet for the answer I still cant find a way to restore purchases for my IAP using cocoonjs. Ludei say it works and to check their example CAPX but its not compatible with the latest version of C2 hence I cant see how to do it. What are the actions I have to use, I've tried a few times but no cigar, please help me if you have it working. Thanks a zillion!

  • Here is a look at the exclusive Arcade Mode update coming to Kitty Pot Cracker by the end of this month. This mode has a high score leader board and features a random selection of foes to fight from the Story Mode. Now pots and lasers will pass through all enemies making combos possible and changing the feel of the game for casual and competitive play.

  • Yeah the debugger in Inspect mode uses more cpu to give you realtime data from your game. Profile mode is closer to actual framerate.

  • If you are using Cocoonjs, they recently fixed a bug that caused that error message on start up. Check these threads:
