    I called it MasterChef for now, but I will probably change the name.

    Main things left to do now:

    -the boss

    -the menu

    -the sound

    But you can already try the gameplay for the 10 little levels now and give me your feedback Maybe I should also do an endless mode with a score.

  • Also made the cat ennemy (still have to make the way he dies more clean)

  • Made the penguin stomach as mean to show the progression A level will be over when the stomach is full.

  • Thank you! Actually the mouse is coming from the oven haha. I'll put a first version in the arcade soon, you'll tell me if it still looks awkward there

  • Just finished the mouse ennemy, next I'll do a cat with a trident (like in the old game) coming from the windows

  • At first I tried to use the bullet behaviour to create the effect of the loot popping up out of the smashed crate, but I couldnt get that working the way I wanted. The coins would bounce on the platforms, then just fall through.

    In the end I added the physics behaviour to the loot (this is my first time experimenting with physics). It achieves the look I wanted, but I'm worried it might impact performance on mobile. There will only ever be 10-20 loot items on screen at once I guess, and they are inactive once they come to rest, so I hope that wont have too much impact? Regardless I'll have to test performance on some mobile devices soon... which means figuring out Phonegap I guess...

    I have no idea if it's better than the physics behaviour, but I guess you could also do the same with the platform behaviour

    Does anyone know how to make the floor tiles bigger as they are closer to the bottom of the screen with an effect? If not I'll have to draw all the floor

  • Almost done I just finished making the boss!

    Now I have 10 levels (level 5 is a bonus level, level 10 is the boss). Only things lefts are making a better menu, a better ending, adding some sounds and music for the boss, and maybe a few funny lines of dialogue too would be a nice extra.

    I will update the arcade so you can try the boss.
