  • Yes, that is the true solution to this problem. Please disregard my first comment. Well, not really, Cow is still da true mvp.

  • Cow, you da real mvp. Thanks man!

  • Use conditionals to check if the image is mirrored... if it's the case, increase / decrease accordingly. I did tell you that mirroring an image sets its width to a negative value... there you go

  • The thing is, that when you mirror it, it changes the width to a negative number. There's your bug! I think you'll be able to fix it now.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I've been having an issue with a very basic mechanic I'm trying to implement in my game.

It's a platform that rotates 180 degrees every X seconds. On one side, there are spikes (red side) and on the other, the player can land, no problem.

It works just fine sometimes, for some moments and eventually, this happens :

Often, it gets to this point or worse

However, what I want is for my platform to rotate and stay perfectly horizontal each time it does. Anyone has a better way to do this... or just a way that works? As silly as this may sound, I just can't get it to work without issues.

    These are my events :

I've tried different variants of this and the problem remains.

  • Just a friendly comment : the way your image is laid out, it makes it seem like it says "Torture children". You may want to change that

  • Abilities tree doesn't mean a lot. What abilities? Have you tried C2 and tried to prototype them?

  • It's looking really good man. One of the things that bother me (bother is a big word...) is how many different colours you used for the tiles in one zone. I find that it doesn't look that good or, in better words, it doesn't fit with the overall style. Makes it look like it's not cohesive.

Just my opinion though. Everything looks really good on itself.

  • The game looks nice. Good luck with the new engine! What's important is making a game in the best way you can so I understand perfectly why you decided to change. It was interesting to read your reasons, all of them seemed valid to me.

  • What specifically don't you know how to do? Maybe we can help you out if you start there.

  • Even Lightbulb uses it? OMG unbelievable!

In all seriousness, your bird there is very nice. Good job. However, the UI elements you included aren't very good. The colour choice seems kind of poor to me and doesn't really go with the flat-design vibe,

  • The game looks decent to be honest, even though it seems to be cheesy as hell. I'll try it out when there's an apple device available around here.

  • Time to listen to a new episode guys, check it out! http://c2podcast.com/2014/11/15/episode ... t-college/

  • The art looks fantastic. And we needed a point & click game for C2!

  • Showing some screenshots, video of gameplay might get people more interested into your projects. Please do share if you have anything to show!
