• Very impressive work!! im not a coder as well but i was working on something similar, transforming sprites to proyect a land created procedurally in C2, but i found a lot of problems that you already solved

you can see what i've done here

    procedural-world-generator-vortex-3d_t197549

and download the capx here if interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GU8Wbq ... sp=sharing

it uses a plugin "patterngenerator" to throw some numbers in the array so the island is randomly created (it might freeze for a few seconds while generating the land mass).

    Keys:

    WASD : to move,

i : to zoom in, get closer (some times the zoom goes to the left, so move a little to the right to find the isle)

    o : to zoom out

g: to generate a new map

+ - : to move the line of horizon

Data in screen: fps / cpuutilisation / sprite count / array position in x / array position in y

if you click a sprite, then it shows: Value / lowest sprite / x, y, line, column, X Position in zoom, Scale / light power

  • NetOne I don't wanna take any credit for this as it was R0J0hound who solved it.

But the example is pretty cool. I'm still trying to figure out if there's any way to use it in practice in any projekt.

Definitely you could use it. top of my list would be a very cool title screen!

Second, for my own selfish, nefarious, shmuppy reasons. would be 3d enemy formations and also , with a bit of adaptation, proper full 3D creation and editing of 3D paths. currently im using 2D paths and varying z separately cos I cant visualize/edit 3D paths

Sadly, I dont think I have the brain capacity to figure out how mr R0J0hound has done this. Also my game is currently totally broken from me just trying to implement a simple level system and this stuff is way beyond that. So, for now, I will accept my limitations, stand back, and just admire its awesomeness.
