My upcoming Tower Defense: Nissan Death

I've been making this since 0.92 (had a small pause at 0.93, since it kept nuking me caps yarrr), and want more opinions about the engine.

My friend already tested it and said that he liked it. But I need opinions from persons who I don't know, who don't like me and such.

Graphics are not yet complete, ase you can see.

But I was wondering, even when there are still cars on screen you can already click on "next round". So it is possible to have more and more cars coming at you. Is this intentional?

I love TD games XD. And that rotating is pretty disturbing :/ yet realistic, but you could give option to set default direction of turret or better aiming at closest target (always).

Yes, at least at the moment it is.

Hitting F12 to take this screenshot using Fraps seemed to make the program eat all my memory. When I closed it in the task manager it was up at 800,000.

Ok, just read Ashleys post about a serious memory leak. I'll rehost a version which doesn't have this when he releases the hotfix.

No, I prefer to be able to tap a single button and have the image saved away, instead of tapping, pasting, saving, then going back to the game. I am curious, as to why you seem so hostile recently?

Yes, it was the program that nearly crashed my OS; Fraps is fine. I cannot reproduce the error, it simply occurred in that instance.

If that seemed hostile, I apologize. I didn't mean anything by it. I was just curious why you didn't use Print Screen, is all. I know that sometimes people's graphics cards are set up so that Print Screen won't work to cap movies or games because of some rendering setting.

I usually use Print Screen as well if I'm in a windowed game, but otherwise I use FRAPS otherwise I can only take 1 screenshot without having to ALT+TAB out and paste+save it somewhere.

FRAPS is great... too bad it uses so much CPU power to record video. D:

oh well.. once again no cover for PS 2.0... I know it's standard, but i just can't aford a new graphicks card right now.

You guys should be able to pick up something like a GeForce 6600GT card (second hand even) for like $30 or so if you have AGP... That card supports up to PS 3.0 as well... Even the old GeForce FX series cards supported PS 2.a, but I don't think that's going to quite cut it?

If you have PCI-E which is newer, then any card should work really, but I'm guessing you are on the older AGP setup otherwise you wouldn't have the problem? :O

This is like the DX10 equivalent of what I payed $200 for a couple years ago. I'm pretty pissed that it's so cheap. $65, wtf! But awesome.

Hehehe yeah it's not a bad card either if you have PCI-E. If you are stuck on AGP then look at a 7600GT or something similar...
