How do I record a video of the screen?

I'm a beginner, sorry if I post in wrong forum:

Is there an option to make videos of the screen when running one's game in C2? If not, which programs do you use to make these? Do I record the whole screen and then cut out the layout?

You would normally use a third party program to do screen recording and sharing. Sine examples include Nvidia shadowplay, amd relive, plays.tv, fraps, OBS... There are many options.
